Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada is an Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in numerous television series. Her family was from Northern Virginia, and is the middle daughter of twin sisters. Ghanizada is the middle child with two brothers and sisters, and was raised within Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career in the world of television through a handful of National Commercials. Ghanizada appeared as Chiara in the Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2003). For the performance, she was nominated in the festival's Cannes Film Festival, for Best Actress. The TV shows she guest starred in are How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells NuMB3RS bones Psych as well as Castle. Most recently, she played the role of a support actress in the science fiction action movie Blood Shot (2009) and the comedy series by independent filmmakers You Only Better (2009).
